I know, I know. you're all getting totally sick of this.
I've been feeling totally lousy without him.
So I took him back. We're gonna take things really slowly.

Not sick of it. Just worried about how it is affecting you.

Your back, but the reason you split was because he wanted you to convert to islam so you could marry. So what has changed?

You are only running headfirst at the same brick wall you hurt yourselves against last time.

He has excepted that I will NOT convert to Islam, he says thats ok, and that he wants to marry me whether I am Muslim or not.

As long as can accept that you're not going to convert to Islam, and knows that like.. you won't change your mind over time then hopefully you can make it work.

Hi DearGirlDiaries,

I know how u feel. Im taking things slowly too!Im in the same boat myself! Ive been seeing this guy for 6 years on and off now, and these days we're getting on really well. But we keep on hitting that same brick wall as Old-Nick put it! He'd like me to convert to Islam. He's not being pushy about it or anything and although things are good between us, the two of know the problem is still there! I looked up a bit about Islam and although I agree with parts, I'm not really prepared to convert just 2 marry. It's frustrating coz i really like him!

There has to be some way round it like living together or something? But, although I do trust him, I'm also aware of the possibility that if that happens and we decide to have kids, he could go off and convert them. Because he would have to according to islam. Then what would happen! Sorry for the long speel!!!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on it though!!
